Lubię kryminały Agaty Christie. Ale ten jej się nie udał. Przemęczyłam książkę, z nadzieją, że jednak coś mnie zaskoczy.
Pierwsze dwadzieścia stron wlecze się jak flaki z olejem, potem już mamy nadzieję, iż będzie ciekawie, ale rozmowy bohaterów są tak płytkie i nudne, że aż nie chce się zgadywać, kto w końcu jest mordercą.
Oczywiście, jak to u Agaty, mamy dość mocno zawężony krąg podejrzanych. Zamordowana została matka rodu - bogata kobieta. Pewne poszlaki wskazują na jej męża, inne na syna, a jeszcze inne na służącą czy córkę.
Mnóstwo powtórzeń w dialogach sprawiało, że przysypiałam, gderając pod nosem "O rany, przecież już wałkowali ten temat". Naprawdę byłam mocno zniecierpliwiona, czytając tę książkę, nie mogąc się doczekać jej końca. Bo oczywiście dojechałam do końca. I nie było wielkiego buuum! Ot, kryminalik bez polotu.
Jak wiadomo pisarzom zdarzają się lepsze i gorsze książki. Oczywiście nie skreślam Agaty, kolejne jej kryminały już czekają na swoją kolej do przeczytania:)
